Tea cup exchange

This is the first exchange I have been in since starting blogging, and I must say it has been enjoyable.
I want to thank Stephanie at http://theenchantingrose.blogspot.com/ for her work putting this together.
She has a beautiful and inspiring blog, be sure you visit.

What a beautiful exchange package I received from Roxy at livingfromglorytoglory.blogspot.com/

She had everything  wrapped very carefully in lovely spring colors.

I'm already enjoy this lovely tea cup by Grace's tea ware each evening in bed while reading to unwind. I most like the fact that I'm not afraid to use it every day.  I have large hands and this is a perfect for me.  I don't take many pictures but I had to show off  my pretty apron that actually fit.  Roxy made this for me and it was like she knew me.  I just love it.

I really appreciate all the lovely items I have received and will use them as well. No regifting here.
But I can honestly say the thing I like the most is the sweet gentle spirit of my new friend.
I hit it off with Roxy immediately,  and delighted to have her for a friend.

A hand made tea keep and book mark and a beautiful creamer, notice how everything matches.

Some of my favorite Earl Grey tea.

Even the little roses are hand made on this lovely little sachet.

This purse sized notebook is almost too pretty to use, but I'm alway looking for something to write on while I'm out so it will be used.

I'll be linking up at
With all the others from the Tea Cup Exchange.
Blessing and hugs

Hands 2 help update

Well I'm making some headway on one of my quilts for Hands 2 Help. The other one was made awhile back. This one is pretty universal for who ever gets it.  The fabrics are all from my stash and I think pretty perky.  It's just a strip quilt, nothing fancy,  I don't do fancy yet.  I meant to take a picture of the starting combo of fabrics.  And of course forgot, I just barely remember to take the this one of piecing.

The wind would not cooperate with a hanging picture, this on the lawn is pretty yonky.  But you get the jest.  This is the first strip quilt I have tried, I don't quite have the hang of it yet cause a couple of
my colors ran beside one another.  There has to be a trick to that.  Anybody want to share what that  is?

Me and the girls chased this little guy around the yard trying to get his picture about two weeks ago.

The first flowers were just coming out, in fact it was in the low 30's for the rest of the week.  Hope he made it.  We don't usually see the swallow tails until mid May.

Everyone have a good week
Stay safe and Blessings

Everything in life is a choice.

I got up, which made for another day of new chances and new choices.  I chose to accept Christ as my Savior about 4o years ago.  And did a lot of stumbling through the early years.  But through the Holy Spirit's urging and the grace of God I always able to get back on track.  I was blessed  that I totally believe  in the power of prayer and was to become a prayer warrior.  I have never been too out going about this especially to strangers,  But have and will tell anyone that I will pray for them when in conversation with them.  And please, believe I don't forget you.  I don't think I have ever mentioned this on my blog, while I do in email, and will comment on others when a need is mentioned.  You know , sorta like behind closed doors.

God has really been dealing with me for a couple of months about the direction in my life and blog.  I have always helped others when  specifically asked,  but mostly sewed trying to make an income. Slowly this has seemed to have  changed to mostly helping others in some way.  And I'm enjoying it so much more.  Again I have shared this in emails and a few comments.  At first I thought I was being humble by not mentioning these organizations I participate with, but I now have realized it was more about fear. What fellow bloggers think, that I'm patting myself on my back or blowing my own horn. Ladies I don't even have a horn.  It's all about God and his grace,  period.  He is providing for me to help others in His name.  Prayerfully  they might come to know Christ as their Savior.  Now that is humbling, that he would use me, what a privilege.  Shame on me for being afraid to post about my Jesus.

As you can see I have made a choice to make God first here as well as in my life and I will gladly share what He is doing.  We don't always have a choice of what circumstances come into our life, but we can choose how we react to it.  I pray to be in the middle of God's plan for this blog and He will use it for a tool to further His kingdom.  I welcome prayer requests at any given time. You may e-mail me if it is too personal to comment. allthingzsewn@gmail.com  I will never divulge a name or exact request.  But we can never have too much earnest prayer.  While I can't meet your need God can.

Enjoy today's blessings
Hugs,
